Elise Meerkatz
Elise Meerkatz is a Staff Attorney at the Cancer Legal Resource Center. Ms. Meerkatz graduated from New York University School of Law in 2004. She was a general practitioner in Lincoln, Nebraska, where her practice focused on the areas of health, employment, and family law, prior to joining CLRC in the fall of 2007. Ms. Meerkatz interned with the American Civil Liberties Union and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now during law school. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Psychology at the University of Nebraska, and worked at a shelter for battered women and their children for two years between undergraduate and law school.
