Sarah Patterson, ASL Interpreter
Sarah Patterson joined the Civil Rights Litigation Project in 2008 as an American Sign Language Interpreter and Coordinator. Ms. Patterson attended the University of New Mexico and completed their Interpreter Training Program in 2003. She is certifed through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (Certificate of Transliteration). She previously worked at the New Mexico School for the Deaf as a staff interpreter, and relocated to California in 2006. She has also worked for California State University, Northridge and Sorenson Video Relay Service. Ms. Patterson has a passion for volunteer work, and has done so at organizations such as the Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center, New Mexico Women's Summit, and the New Mexico Teen Suicide Hotline.
