Joanna Fawzy Morales, Esq., Director
Joanna Morales is the Director of the Cancer Legal Resource Center, a joint program of the Disability Rights Legal Center and Loyola Law School. Prior to joining the DRLC staff as the recipient of the 2002 Loyola Law School Post-Graduate Fellowship in Public Interest Law, Mrs. Morales externed at the CLRC for two years. Mrs. Morales also spent eight years working at the John Wayne Cancer Institute for its Psychosocial Care Program and the Positive Appearance Center. Mrs. Morales presently serves as the Vice President and Public Policy Chair on the Board of Directors for Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Los Angeles County Affiliate, the American Cancer Society’s California Division Information Navigation & Support Team, the ACS California Division Cancer & the Environment Team, and the California Dialogue on Cancer. She also sits on numerous community workgroups and committees. Mrs. Morales is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola Law School, teaching Cancer Rights Law.
