Disability Mentoring Day 2010: Mentees and Mentors mingling after a day of job shadowing.
Disability Mentoring Day 2011 will be held at 200 N. Main Street, Room 351-A (City Hall East), on Wednesday, October 12th.
Job seekers and students with disabilities ages 18 and over who are attending high school, vocational schools, or colleges are eligible to participate as mentees. The event empowers students and job seekers by providing them with job shadowing and career exploration.

Mentors and mentees enjoying a delicious dinner after a day of mentoring.
Disability Mentoring Day 2010 in Los Angeles a great success. Over 60 mentees and 40 mentors participated this year. With help from our sponsors, we were able to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our mentees and mentors. Everyone spent the day getting to know the various companies and job duties. It was also a great opportunity mentees to acquire internships and externships. Overall the event went very smoothly and we would like to thank all our participants for coming. We hope to see everyone again next year!
