How You Can Help
Donations
The A. Milton Miller Memorial Fund (doing business as the Disability Rights Legal Center) is a nonprofit charitable organization as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. For individual tax filers who itemize federal income tax deductions, cash donations to this public charity are fully deductible as provided by the tax laws. Special rules may apply to certain non-cash donations and to contributions not made by individuals; consult your tax advisor.
The Disability Rights Legal Center seeks funds from individual and corporate contributions and grants. The funds are used for unrestricted operating expenses, specific projects, and endowments. Because we keep our overhead expenses low, thanks to the generosity of Loyola Law School, all donations go directly to providing our services.
Contributions to the DRLC can be made through the United Way, Combined Federal Campaign, Los Angeles City Employee Payroll designation, and other mechanisms.
Please ask your employer about matching contributions - you could double the impact of your gift!
Each year, DRLC offers a silent auction of items donated by our business supporters as part of our Annual Gala. Please consider donating a silent auction item to support the DRLC. For more information on making a contribution, please contact Randi Sunshine at (213) 736-1468.
